I use materials from The International Dyslexia Association®, my years as a Special Education teacher, and The Reading Research Counsel® to hone in on the talents and disabilities of the client. I spend 3 to 4 hours evaluating confusion, movement, comprehension, and on task behavior while the client performs skills in Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Math. I find what words or symbols he/she hangs onto, drops, or moves to other locations on a page and then demonstrate to the client and his/her family members what the client is doing and how Dyslexia works.
